Ajayi was part of the United side that reached the 2026 FA Youth Cup final, where Manchester City eventually won 2-1 at the Joie Stadium on May 14.
He started the final alongside fellow academy prospects including JJ Gabriel and Chido Obi. Earlier in the competition, Ajayi scored twice in United’s 3-1 league victory over Stoke, just days before the final.
