European champions Spain beat 1998 winners France 2-0 Tuesday night to reach the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
The game was watched by over a billion fans around the world and the roof at Dallas Stadium was closed with thundery showers forecast before the game started.
Mikel Oyarzabal scored from the spot after Lamine Yamal was fouled by Lucas Digne
Pedro Porro doubled the lead in the second half after he was assisted by Barcelona midfield dynamo Dani Olmo in the 58th minute.
Yamal had a goal chalked off for offside but a rather disappointing France side had a few efforts mostly orchestrated by Kylian Mbappe. However they were foiled by the Spanish defence.
Nico Williams came off the substitute bench in the second half and had one low shot saved by Mike Maighan in goal for Les Blues.
Los Rojas will face either England or Argentina in final on Sunday.
