The long-running tension between between Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalists Kola and Dede has finally spilled into an open confrontation, as the pair revisited their complicated relationship after life inside the house.
In a heated exchange that quickly caught viewers’ attention, Kola actually described Dede as “materialistic,” claiming it was one of the key impressions he formed during their time together in the house.
His comment immediately brought up the old friction between the, with Dede pushing back and questioning how he arrived at that conclusion. She said that his perception might have been shaped by misunderstandings and moments taken out of context.
The discussion, which also involved fellow finalist Jason Jae, took a deeper turn when Jason asked Kola about his intentions toward Dede during the show.
In response, Kola insisted that his feelings at the time were real and not for the show or for fame. He said that whatever he expressed in the house came from a place of honesty, even if things eventually didn’t work out.
But Dede had a different take on their connection. She admitted that while she still likes Kola as a person, their personalities never truly matched for a lasting relationship. According to her, she was calm and reserved while Kola is more expressive and intense, making it hard for their relationship to last outside the house.
