BBNaija Season 10 housemate, Opeyemi Ayanwale, known as Imisi, is famous for coming out of Season 10 as the winner of ₦140 million. But with the accusations of Faith, a fellow housemate, of sexual assault, fans are remembering her shocking revelation.
She has made a harrowing revelation about her childhood, disclosing that she was raped twice at the age of 12 and became pregnant at 13.
Imisi shared her story during a task in the BBNaija house while speaking with fellow housemates Koyin, Jason Jae, Sultana, and Mide.
According to Imisi, the first incident happened after she was sent away from home around age 12. She was taken in by someone that eventually left her alone in a church store room.
“It was very dark. It was just me alone. Then he left,” she recounted. “I didn’t have anywhere to go and I couldn’t go back to my parents… So I got r*ped. That was the first time I got raped in my life.”
She revealed that when she went to school the next day, she was sent back to the same location and ended up getting sexually assaulted in the same room.
The trauma did not end there. Imisi disclosed that she later discovered she was pregnant. “I was just 13 years old. I had to abort the child,” she said.
The housemate explained that the experience continues to haunt her. “I feel like that is something that traumatizes me every time I cannot be in a dark place alone,” she added.
Imisi’s emotional testimony has led to conversations online about child sexual abuse, with many fans calling for support and justice for survivors.
