Fenerbahçe Linked With Rashford After Greenwood Signing, But Romano Denies Talks

Fresh reports linking Marcus Rashford with a move to Fenerbahçe have been dismissed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, despite growing speculation following the Turkish club’s signing of Mason Greenwood from Marseille. Greenwood completed a €39 million move this week as Fenerbahçe continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.

Reports in Turkey suggested Fenerbahçe had made initial contact with Manchester United over Rashford, who is entering the final two years of his contract and is reportedly available for transfer. However, Romano insists there are currently no negotiations between the clubs, adding that Rashford remains focused on pre-season while his long-term future is assessed.

The England international has been the subject of transfer speculation throughout the summer after returning from his loan spell. United are believed to be open to offers as they look to reshape the squad and generate funds for new signings, but no agreement has been reached with any club.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe’s attention remains on integrating Greenwood after securing one of the biggest transfers in Turkish football this summer.
