Streamer Silky is at the centre of a viral controversy after a video showed him smashing a trespasser’s phone outside the CORE content house, following an apparent security breach at the creators’ residence.
The incident reportedly began when an individual, believed to be either a fan or an aspiring content creator, entered the property without permission. Fellow streamer StableRonaldo allegedly spotted the person near his vehicle and alerted Silky, who confronted the individual outside the house.
Videos circulating on social media show a heated exchange before Silky grabbed the person’s phone and smashed it on the ground. Clips from his livestream later showed him still visibly frustrated as he discussed the incident with viewers.
The CORE house is home to several popular creators, including Silky, StableRonaldo, Lacy, Marlon, JasonTheWeen and Adapt, and has quickly become one of streaming’s most recognizable collaborative content houses.
The incident has sparked widespread debate online. Some viewers defended Silky, arguing that creators deserve privacy and should not have to deal with people showing up uninvited at their homes. Others questioned whether destroying someone’s property was an appropriate response, suggesting the situation should have been handled by security or law enforcement instead.
The episode has once again highlighted the growing challenges facing internet personalities as fan culture increasingly blurs the line between public content and private lives. Several high-profile streamers have previously spoken about unwanted visitors appearing at their homes, raising concerns about safety, doxxing and personal boundaries.
While opinions remain divided, many agree that creators’ homes should not become tourist attractions or public gathering spots simply because they are featured in online content.
