Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos have been grouped along with Poland, Puerto Rico and Korea DPR in Group B of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, reports News Legend.
The lasses beat Benin Republic 5-3 in their last qualifying game on Friday.
The team will depart Lomé, Togo, at 3:15 p.m. and arrive in Lagos at 5:15 p.m. Nigerian time on Sunday following the conclusion of the qualifying series.
Korea DPR are the two-time defending champions of the tournament.
The best of U-17 Women’s teams will battle for the title in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
