Victory’s explosive comments about Gigi Jasmine may have dominated the headlines after Episode Two of the BBNaija Season 10 reunion, but this wasn’t the only story on Tuesday night’s couch. Between a shocking confession about Koyin, a post-show hotel night, and Dede delivering the most devastating two words of the evening, Episode Two gave viewers more than enough to process.
Here is everything else that happened.
Sultana Dropped a Bombshell
If there was one moment that changed everything we knew about the entire Season 10, it was Sultana’s confession about Jason Jae.
Sultana, the 26-year-old plus-size model from Adamawa State, admitted on the reunion couch that when she entered the BBNaija house, the person she actually had feelings for was Koyin, not Jason Jae. She further said that she held back from pursuing Koyin because, in her words, “Koyin is an upright man and I didn’t want to hurt him.”
Jason Jae, by her own admission, was simply the next option. “I went for the next available machine,” she said, and her words instantly became the most talked-about quote of the night.
The confession sent shockwaves through the reunion audience an lit up Twitter. Fans immediately connected the dots, especially with Sultana’s resentment towards Dede during the season and when she actually urinated in Dede’s storage box.
“Oh, Sultana liked Koyin immediately they got into the house? It makes more sense why she had so much resentment towards Dede,” one viewer said online.
Jason Jae’s Three Women and Zero Accountability
Jason Jae spent much of Episode Two on the defensive, but he dug his hole the more he talked.
The 29-year-old artist and choreographer from Ondo State had three major storylines to address on the reunion couch: his situation with Sultana, his close bond with Dede, and the unresolved tension with Joanna.
On Sultana, Jason insisted he had always been upfront, “I told Sultana that I have a girl outside and whatever we had will not work. We had intimate conversations and we got physical. They were emotions, but no talk about relationships.”
Twitter’s response was swift! The man had a girlfriend outside the house the entire time, yet chose to get physical with someone inside. Viewers felt like the accountability should have started there.
On Dede, Jason claimed their relationship was “just friendship.” Dede, looking unimpressed just said, “Who, him?” The line needed no further explanation.
The Joanna chapter was perhaps the most eyebrow-raising. Joanna revealed that one night, Jason came to wake her while she was asleep and was visibly aroused. “He was hard as a rock beside my bed,” she said.
Jason maintained nothing happened between them and that Joanna was reading too much into things. But as one viewer pointed out, “Joanna didn’t lie. We all watched this playout in real time. Jason is forming amnesia.”
The Entanglement Map: A Season That Cannot Be Drawn in Straight Lines
Episode Two opened with Ebuka trying to map out the romantic and emotional connections between the Season 10 housemates, and what resulted was less a diagram and more a web of entanglements that left even the host struggling to keep up.
Let’s see if you understand:
Victory liked Sultana. Sultana liked Koyin. Koyin was entangled with Dede. Dede was also between Kola and Jason Jae. Jason Jae had something with Sultana and Joanna. Joanna had feelings for Jason. Victory also pursued Joanna. Gigi liked Victory.
“Snake and ladder is learning from these housemates. Everyone is directly and indirectly interwoven,” said one viewer on Twitter.
