The death of 26-year-old Nollywood actress and content creator Adesanya Nimota Omotolani, popularly known as Nimmy Ferrari, has taken another painful turn after her parents publicly disagreed over her burial and newly completed house.

Nimmy died on September 6, 2026, in Sagamu, Ogun State, following reported complications from a surgical procedure. She was buried at the home she had planned to officially open days later. Her family has not publicly confirmed an official cause of death.

The Nimmy Ferrari house dispute began publicly after her mother released emotional videos accusing members of the father’s family of opposing the burial at the property because they wanted to sell it.

A House That Became Her Final Resting Place

The timing has made the Nimmy Ferrari burial especially painful for fans and colleagues. The young actress had reportedly completed the Sagamu property and was preparing for a housewarming ceremony. Instead of celebrating the achievement with friends and family, mourners gathered there for her burial.

Her mother said she agreed to have Nimmy buried at the property because she wanted her daughter to remain there and believed the home represented something Nimmy had worked hard to achieve.

She also alleged that members of Nimmy’s father’s family wanted the property sold rather than used as her final resting place. Those allegations have not been independently verified.

Father Gives a Different Account

Nimmy’s father has since responded publicly, rejecting the suggestion that he or his family wanted to harm his daughter or simply take the property.

In his response, he said he contributed to the development of the house and that the property was built on family land. Reports of his response also show him strongly denying that he wanted Nimmy’s house sold.

The conflicting accounts mean the Nimmy Ferrari mother and father dispute is now about more than where the actress was buried. It has also raised questions about who financed the property, who owns the land and what should happen to the house after her death.

Grief Turns Into a Family Dispute

For fans, the speed at which the disagreement emerged has added another layer to an already tragic story. Nimmy’s death had shocked the Yoruba Nollywood community because she was only 26 and was reportedly preparing to celebrate a major personal milestone. Now, her unfinished plans have become part of a public family dispute.

The most serious claims made by either parent remain allegations, and there has been no indication of a court ruling over ownership of the property. For now, the Nimmy Ferrari house stands as both the home she never got to celebrate and the centre of a disagreement her death has brought into public view.
