Former BBNaija Season 10 housemate Danboskid, whose real name is Daniel Olatunji, has opened up about the difficult reality he is facing after his time on the reality show.
In an emotional video shared on Wednesday, September 2, the reality star revealed that he has returned to his family home and is currently sleeping in his sister’s room. He described himself as being at “rock bottom” but said he was determined to change his situation rather than simply seek pity.
The disclosure has attracted attention because it shows how quickly the visibility that comes with BBNaija Season 10 can contrast with the financial realities contestants face after leaving the show.
From Reality TV Spotlight to Starting Over
Danboskid was the first housemate evicted from BBNaija Season 10, leaving the show after just 12 days. At the time, he said he planned to pursue acting after his eviction.
Now, instead of presenting himself as a successful reality star, Daniel is openly discussing his struggle to rebuild. He said his family is also facing difficulties, although he stressed that they are not going hungry.
The BBNaija Danboskid story therefore raises a bigger question about what happens after reality TV fame. A large social media following can create opportunities, but it does not automatically translate into stable income, a successful career or financial security.
Danboskid Plans Several Ways Back
Rather than focusing on one solution, Daniel said he is considering several ways to get back on his feet. He plans to produce a movie, develop an accessories business and start driving for Uber. He also wants to establish himself as an actor and eventually secure his own accommodation.
He reportedly considered selling his laptop for money but decided against it because he sees it as an important tool for rebuilding his career.
For Daniel Olatunji, the immediate goal appears to be less about maintaining the image of a reality star and more about creating a sustainable life after the spotlight fades.
