The duo of Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele were on the scoresheet Thursday evening as France beat Morocco 2-0 at the Boston stadium to reach the semifinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The win is the third successive time that France will advance to the ‘last 4’.
Mbappe missed a penalty in the first half but delightfully found the back of the net with an hour played.
Ousmane Dembele then made it 2-0 six minutes later. Morocco struggled to cope with the pace of the French stars albeit they improved their defensive play as the game progressed.
France will face the winner of the Spain versus Belgium game on Friday night.
