Ronaldo Gifts IShowSpeed Rare World Cup Boots After Portugal Exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has surprised his biggest online supporter, IShowSpeed, by gifting him one of only two pairs of the ultra-rare Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 “CR7 Gold Scorpion” boots worn during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The special-edition golden boots were worn by Ronaldo during Portugal’s World Cup campaign and were created to commemorate his historic achievement of becoming the first player to score in six different FIFA World Cups. Following Portugal’s Round of 16 exit to Spain, Ronaldo arranged for one of the two game-worn pairs to be delivered to the popular streamer, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr.

Speed, a lifelong Ronaldo fan who has followed Portugal throughout the tournament, reacted with disbelief during a livestream as he unboxed the gift.

“These are the ones he wore!”

The emotional moment quickly went viral across social media, with fans praising Ronaldo for rewarding one of his most dedicated supporters. Reports also suggest Ronaldo had originally hoped to present the boots to Speed in person if Portugal had advanced further in the tournament.

The “CR7 Gold Scorpion” boots are considered among the rarest football memorabilia from the 2026 World Cup, making the gift especially significant. For Speed—who has spent years publicly supporting Ronaldo, attending his matches and celebrating his achievements—the gesture marked another memorable chapter in one of football’s most famous fan-player relationships.
