A playful challenge between two of Nigeria’s biggest female music stars has suddenly become one of the latest celebrity boxing stories to attract attention online.
Tiwa Savage has accepted Teni’s boxing challenge, responding to the singer’s public call-out with three simple words: “Pick a date.” Teni had proposed a purse of about ₦1.5 billion for the fight in a video posted on October 2, 2026.

Teni made the challenge while talking about how much Nigerian entertainers earn and the expensive cars some musicians own.
In her characteristically playful style, she suggested that she and Tiwa should fight for a huge purse. She joked that she would defeat Tiwa in the ring and then sing “My Darling” for her afterwards.
