Temi Nkem is the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, but the final voting figures reveal that the race for the crown was much closer than the final positions suggest.
Temi finished with 25.87% of the votes, narrowly ahead of Aikou, who recorded 23.68%. Sheba finished third with 9.80%, meaning the biggest battle of the night was between the eventual winner and her first runner-up.
Temi Beat Aikou by Just 2.19 Points
The most interesting number from the finale is the gap between Temi and Aikou. Temi’s 25.87% was only 2.19 percentage points higher than Aikou’s 23.68%. In practical terms, the winner and first runner-up were separated by a much smaller margin than many viewers might have expected after watching the final night unfold.
The result shows that Aikou was not simply another finalist who happened to finish second. He was within striking distance of the Season 11 crown until the final votes were counted.
Sheba’s Gap Was Much Wider
The numbers become even more interesting when Sheba’s result is added. Sheba received 9.80%, which put her 13.88 percentage points behind Aikou. That is more than six times the 2.19-point gap that separated Temi and Aikou.
The final standings therefore tell two different stories. Temi won, but Aikou came very close, while Sheba’s third-place finish came with a much wider voting gap.
What the Numbers Say About the Finale
The final three had all survived a season filled with twists, alliances, evictions and unexpected turns. By the time the finale reached its last stage, however, the public vote produced a clear split between the top two and third place.
Temi’s victory ultimately came down to a narrow advantage over Aikou. She secured the crown with 25.87%, while Aikou’s 23.68% showed just how competitive the final vote was.
For Sheba, reaching the final three was still a major achievement, but her 9.80% result shows that the final voting battle was concentrated much more heavily around Temi and Aikou.
After 70 days of competition, the numbers have now provided one of the clearest summaries of how close the final race really was: Temi Nkem won, but Aikou was only 2.19 percentage points away from changing the ending of Season 11.
