Wizkid Announces Two Major US Festival Headlining Shows This July

Nigerian music superstar Wizkid is heading back to the United States this month with two major festival headline performances, giving fans what many have dubbed “Starboy Month.” The Grammy-winning singer confirmed the appearances as part of his packed 2026 international schedule, which continues to strengthen his global presence.

Wizkid will first headline BlastFest on Saturday, July 18, at the Seattle Center in Washington. The festival features a star-studded lineup including DJ Mustard, Tyla, Shenseea, Pheelz and Tyler ICU, making it one of the biggest Afrobeats events of the summer in the United States.

The Starboy will then travel to Minneapolis for the Tribeville Festival Deluxe at The Armory on July 24. The event celebrates Black music and culture and will also feature performances from artists including R2Bees and Kranium. The announcement comes after Wizkid previously hinted that his 2026 calendar would include several major festival appearances across North America.

The news has sparked excitement across social media, with fans celebrating another milestone for the Afrobeats icon. From Essence becoming the first Afrobeats song to crack the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 to becoming the first African artist to surpass 11 billion Spotify streams, Wizkid continues to cement his place as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
