While Thelma Lawson and Big Soso was busy making headlines, the rest of the BBNaija Season 10 reunion couch was serving its own brand of chaos. Here’s everything else that happened last night that proved the ’10 Over 10′ cast has absolutely not moved on.
Otega: The Most Honest Man in the Room
When Ebuka brought up Sabrina former housemate Otega did something no one expected in reality TV: He actually told the truth.
“I never came to the show to look for you. You no dey there when I filled the form,” he said, shutting down any suggestion of a romantic connection with surgical precision.
He went further saying, “I tried to make it out but she is above my weight. I will not be able to keep up.” These words instantly made him the most articulate person of the night.
For context, both Sabrina and Thelma had blocked Otega on social media after the show. the man has been blocked so many times that fans are now calling him ‘a professional bricklayer.’
Still, he showed up to the reunion unbothered, unblocked the whole situation in real life, and left with his dignity fully intact.
Kola vs Doris: Non Factor vs Inconsequential
If Otega was the night’s most honest moment, Kola and Doris was the most entertaining. Doris, who you might know as Labubu, arrived at the reunion still convinced that Kola had led her on during the season.
But Kola was not going to take that, and dismissed her saying, “What I had with Imisioluwa was what I clamored for with Doris, but she misaligned me and I will not sit down here and act like I care.” He added, “It is a non factor at this point.”
Doris fired back with “inconsequential.”
Twitter spent the rest of the night debating who won the vocabulary war.
Zita and Mide: The Quiet Opener Nobody Talked About
Everyone focused on the main event but we might forget the fact that Episode One opened with a clash between Zita and Mide.
Mide, by all accounts, handled it with composure and came out looking polished. But Zita is known for her hot temper, and so she was less composed.
Fans noted that Zita’s relationship with Danboskid also did not survive after the show, and that was probably because of her temperament.
Imisi: Winning and Sleeping
The ₦150 million winner of BBNaija Season 10 spent most of Episode One sitting quietly while everyone around her descended into chaos.
At one point, a viewer tweeted: “Is Imisi sleeping?”
But she wasn’t sleeping. She was simply letting everyone else tire themselves out. The reunion is long, and her turn is coming.
