Davido has kicked off the rollout for his next single, “Gimme Dat Thing,” sharing a humorous teaser featuring comedian Shank Comics and fast-rising Abuja artist NO11 ahead of the release of his upcoming album, ORIADÉ.
The 64-second skit, posted across Davido’s social media platforms, sees Shank Comics hilariously demanding to hear the unreleased song before chasing the Afrobeats star through a forest, repeatedly shouting, “Give me that thing!” The clip ends by revealing the title of the highly anticipated collaboration with NO11, whose breakout hit “How Far” has earned him growing attention in Nigeria’s music scene.
The single is expected to appear on Davido’s sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, which is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026. The project follows his 2025 album 5ive and recent lead single “I Know Who I Be,” as the singer prepares for another major chapter in his career.
