Davido Set to Release Sixth Album Oriadé Tonight

Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to release his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Oriadé, at midnight on Friday, July 31, marking another major milestone in his career.

The 13-track project is officially scheduled for release on July 31, according to Apple Music and Spotify, with Davido already making two songs from the album available ahead of the full project: “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11 and “I Know Who I Be” with JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.

The album’s announced collaborators include Aya Nakamura, Leon Thomas, Black Sherif, Mayorkun, Fola and Llona, giving the project a mix of Nigerian, African and international sounds. Black Sherif is the only Ghanaian artist featured on the album.

Oriadé arrives as Davido continues building on the momentum of his recent work, following his 2025 collaborative album 5ive. The new project is also notable for its relatively compact 13-song tracklist, making it his shortest studio album to date compared with several of his previous releases.

The title Oriadé carries a Yoruba meaning associated with royalty and the crown, fitting the album’s broader themes of Nigerian identity, achievement and pride.

Ahead of the release, anticipation has intensified online, with fans preparing streaming parties and debating the already released songs and snippets. There have also been reports circulating online that the album has leaked ahead of its official release, adding another layer of excitement and frustration around tonight’s drop.

Despite the leak chatter, the official release remains scheduled for July 31, with major streaming platforms listing the album as a 13-song project.

For Davido, Oriadé represents another major chapter in a career that has now stretched across more than a decade, with fans waiting to see whether the new project can deliver another defining Afrobeats moment.
