Manchester United Unveil Retro-Inspired Navy Away Kit for 2026/27 Season

Manchester United have officially unveiled their 2026/27 away kit, introducing a sleek navy-blue design inspired by the club’s iconic 1988 away shirt and the flowing waters of Manchester’s River Irwell.

The adidas-designed jersey features a textured navy base with bold red shoulder stripes, a modern V-neck collar, the classic red devil crest, and Snapdragon as the front-of-shirt sponsor. The shirt blends retro aesthetics with modern performance technology, using lightweight engineered fabric designed for elite performance while maintaining a stylish look for supporters.

United stars, including new arrivals Bryan Mbeumo, wearing the No. 19 shirt, and Matheus Cunha, now sporting the No. 10 jersey, headline the launch campaign alongside Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo. Long-sleeve versions of the kit have also caught fans’ attention, with many praising their off-pitch fashion appeal.

The launch follows days of anticipation after rapper Stormzy teased the shirt before its official reveal, sending social media into a frenzy.

Since the unveiling, supporters have flooded social media with praise, calling it one of Manchester United’s best away kits in years. Many highlighted the return to a classic look, while others praised the choice of players modelling the shirt, particularly new signings Mbeumo and Cunha, whose inclusion has added excitement ahead of the new season.

Fans also believe the navy design will quickly become a favorite for both Champions League nights and everyday casual wear, with several describing it as a “10/10” kit. The jersey is now available through Manchester United and adidas stores worldwide as the club continues preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.
