Soso Soberekon Ties the Knot in Star-Studded Traditional Wedding in Warri

Popular Nigerian music executive and White Lion Global CEO, Soso Soberekon, is celebrating his traditional wedding to his longtime partner, Princess Ebiere, in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, July 25.

The colourful ceremony comes just days after videos surfaced online showing Soberekon fulfilling traditional marriage rites, including the payment of his bride price ahead of the main celebration.

Videos and photos from the venue have since gone viral, giving fans a glimpse of the lavish decorations, cultural displays and arrival of high-profile guests. The event has attracted several celebrities from Nigeria’s entertainment industry, including 2Baba, Ini Edo, Tacha, and other notable personalities who travelled to Warri to celebrate with the couple.

Soberekon, who has largely kept his personal life away from the spotlight, surprised many fans earlier this week when he officially unveiled his wife on social media with the caption, “I have been taken,” confirming reports that the couple had already held a private civil wedding in London earlier this year.

In the lead-up to the wedding, the music executive shared several romantic moments with Ebiere, including clips from her bridal shower where he described her as “the first and only woman to spray me dollars.” The videos quickly gained traction online as fans congratulated the couple and praised their chemistry.

Saturday’s traditional wedding has also generated buzz because of its grand scale. Luxury vehicles were reportedly arranged to transport celebrity guests, while videos from the venue showcased elaborate décor and cultural performances, with many describing the setting as one of the most glamorous celebrity weddings of the year.

As celebrations continue in Warri, congratulatory messages have poured in from colleagues, friends and fans across social media. With the traditional ceremony now underway, many are looking forward to more highlights from what has become one of Nigeria’s biggest entertainment weddings of 2026.
