English Premier League champions Arsenal on Tuesday, June 30, confirmed the departures of 10 yourg players in their fold following the expiration of their contracts.

June 30 of every year signals the end of most contracts in club football and the club’s website have published the list of players whose contracts could be renewed or allowed to find new pastures.

The trio of Josh Nichols, Joshua Ogunnaike and Samuel Onyekachukwu were instrumental in the youth setup last season but could have different pathways in their careers as the 2026/2027 season approaches.

Josh Nichols whose mother is Nigerian while his father comes from Jamaica is the only player on the list to have made a senior appearance for the club.

Nichols started in a 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers in September 2024 but has not featured since.

The club had already decided that eight of the players would not have their contracts renewed.

Nichols is considered one of the two whose deals could be revisited with a possibility of an extension.
